The Cutest Curtains Ever

OMG! I am so excited about the curtains I made (or put together) in less than 30 minutes. They turned out better than I had hoped. Super easy and I spent under $8 to make them.

So the picture doesn’t do them justice though.  I wanted something neutral and vintage looking and of course farmhouse-ish.  I did my research on hgtv, pinterest and fixer upper, my 3 favorite decorating places.  After trying a couple of different ideas with cloth napkins that I had already and some clips, I just wasn’t satisfied with the look.  So while I was at Wally World today, I had a brainstorm.

So here’s what you need for these low budget curtains:
2 flour sack towels (found by the dish towels)
Burlap wired ribbon
Curtain clips
Tension rod
Sewing machine and thread

Directions:
Iron the flour sack towels, fold in half lengthwise. Cut a length of ribbon to fit the width of the towels. Pin ribbon to towels. Guesstimate where to add ribbon. I overlapped the towel and ribbon about an inch.  Sew a straight  line across the ribbon close to the edge of the ribbon.  Hang with clips. 5 clips per towel. Your done!

Yeah!  Happy Easter!
